Just a spoon full of sugar
Makes the medicine go down
Sweet Mary-Jane won't you lay me down
Lost my heart in California, lost my mind
Shot me down with a revolver, got me high
Then a heart of gold came on the stereo
Mr Young made me cry
Then all the colours of the rainbow
Fell in my eyes

I lost my mind long ago
Down that yellow brick road
I lost my mind long ago
Down that yellow brick road

Took a train to the river
Where I drove right in
That skinny dippin' girl
Made the blue bird sing
Fell in love in California, she blew my mind
She shot me down with her revolver
She got me high
Then the weather man came on the radio
Said there be sunshine
Then all the colours of the rainbow
Fell in my mind

I lost my mind long ago
Down that yellow brick road
I lost my mind long ago
Down that yellow brick road

WTF?

Their pet cow used to do the same thing, then it got too big and damaged the structural integrity of the house.

Can't. stop. laughing.don't know why.

My Dear,

It's not a silly little moment
It's not the storm before the calm
This is the deep and dying breath of
This love we've been working on

Can't seem to hold you like I want to
So I can feel you in my arms
Nobody's going to come and save you
We pulled too many false alarms

We're going down
And you can see it too
We're going down
And you know that we're doomed
My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room

I was the one you always dreamed of
You were the one I tried to draw
How dare you say it's nothing to me
Baby, you're the only light I ever saw

I'll make the most of all the sadness
You'll be a bitch because you can
You try to hit me just to hurt me
So you leave me feeling dirty
Because you can't understand

We're going down
And you can see it too
We're going down
And you know that we're doomed
My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room

Go cry about it, why don't you?
My dear, we're slow dancing in a burning room

Don't you think we ought to know by now?
Don't you think we should have learned somehow?

LOVE

Cards and Quarters,
Means to ends.
Surgeon General,
Warns against.

Safe in the knowledge,
A short walk back.
Punch-line, I ruin.
But we both laugh.

Leaves steeping longer,
Knowing glance.
Make our appearance,
Our minds have gone back home.

Brave in her movements,
Scared to dance alone.
There's a cave made of sheets and I,
I know we want to be inside.

Take of all of your clothes and climb,
Into a cave of sheets tonight,
Steal away. You and me,
to a cave, made of sheets.

In the Middle

Don't Judge Me.

This video was shot in Savannah along with the movie "The Last Song." Okay... and yeah, I kind of like her.
Sue me.

Back from vacay and not feeling that "home sweet home" vibe. Longing for more travel time...

Change

"Be the change you wish to see in the world" - Gandhi

Some say they don't like change, while others embrace it. I recently stumbled upon Change.org & their vision is this:
Today as citizens of the world, we face a daunting array of social and environmental problems ranging from health care and education to global warming and economic inequality. For each of these issues, whether local or global in scope, there are millions of people who care passionately about working for change but lack the information and opportunities necessary to translate their interest into effective action.
Change.org aims to address this need by serving as the central platform informing and empowering movements for social change around the most important issues of our time.

Having a passion for an array of organizations I do believe each one makes a positive difference, one small step at a time. I've always been a softy for all things animals, and therefore my passion for animal welfare & rights will forever be important to me.

Little Miss Insecure

It's Doppelganger Week!

I actually LIKE this list. Makes me feel PPPPPRETTY! All my life my Dad has said I look like Christina Ricci, but I never saw the similarities. Then as I got older I got Mandy Moore ALL the time. I've heard Rachel Ray, Jessica Alba, Miley Cyrus (DEAD SERIOUS!), Rachel McAdams, even Sally Fields! I don't know, go figure!
