Hollywood comes to Savannah...

During the summer, Miley Cyrus filmed her movie, "The Last Song" in Savannah, GA. With the release of the trailer this small town is giddy with excitement, or maybe that's just me. Due out in theaters on April 2, 2010. Miley filmed her music video for the movie here as well.

This Twilight craze is just a phase right?

Let me begin with the small detail that I myself have never read/watched any of the Twilight books/movies. I know this is lame and some of you are judging me right now. BUT, let me add that some of my favorite artists are on the Twilight/New Moon soundtracks. So, I think I earn some cool points for that.

Okay, the point of this is to share my favorite songs from the albums, and in doing so maybe get some feedback and discover some new artists via you guys.

First song that I heard was going to be on the new album was Death Cab's - Meet Me on the Equinox - love it, love them. So I checked out the other songs and found more stuff I like.

Lykke Li - Possibility (She rocks and so does this song)
Anya Marina - Satellite Heart (Never heard of her but I like the song)

That's all I feel like listing out because the rest are on my playlist to the right. Check it out!

I love all genres of music. Yes, even classical. So please share your favorite artists and I can make my playlist even longer.

It's 2009, I consider myself pretty in touch with the times but I'm just now starting a blog...what gives you might say? Well, I constantly remind myself that life is short and tomorrow is never promised so I can't think of a better way to leave my small (literally) footprint in this vast space we call the world wide web. I must quickly state that I DO NOT claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed and do make mistakes, plenty of mistakes. With that said you will see spelling AND grammar errors! Relax, we all have our faults. I just may have more than the rest. ;) I am a lady of many interests so happy reading, family & friends. I hope I can bring a smile to your face.
